PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) started innitiative to install Solar Power Plants (PLTS) in two of WIKA Beton`s factories located in Bogor and Majalengka, West Java. It marks a strategic step for the company in adopting renewable energy and sustainable business practices. 

The PLTS will be installed on the main production line rooftops at both plants, with a total electrical capacity of 682 kWP. This move is an integral part of the decarbonization program implemented by the WIKA Group and supports the Green Industry initiative promoted by the Ministry of Industry. Furthermore, WIKA Beton has taken various other steps to support sustainability, including using solar cells for lighting throughout the factory area, optimizing production wastewater, and utilizing fly ash waste in concrete mixtures to reduce cement usage. Through these efforts, WIKA Beton is committed to continuously making a positive contribution to the environment and future generations.
