On this exact date, March 11, 2024, it`s hard to believe that it has been a full 27 years since PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) has been contributing to building Indonesia. Without pause, WIKA Beton continues to consistently offer its best contributions to the nation. This immense gratitude was then manifested in the agenda of a joint Iftar for WIKA Beton employees on Wednesday (20/3) evening in Jakarta.
Approximately 400 employees from the Head Office and WIKA Beton units located in the Greater Jakarta area enlivened this event. The atmosphere became even more festive with the presence of the management team from the past and present, as well as retired employees who gathered to reconnect, mingling with other WIKA Beton people. Not to forget, the directors of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), the parent company, also attended that evening.
Included in the series of the main celebration events were the announcement of the winners of the WIKA Beton Awards 2024, the presentation of the Satya Karya awards to employees with 10 to 35 years of service, as well as the launching launch of a new logo and a new website for WIKA Beton. Of course, to further enliven the agenda, the committee also distributed various door prizes ranging from shopping vouchers, rice cooker, juicer, smartphone, rice cookers, juicers, smartphones, to the grand prize of a pilgrimage journey.
Falling in the month of Ramadan, the solemnity of the 27th WIKA Beton Anniversary celebration was further perfected with the presence of Ustadz Dr. H. Das`ad Latif, S.Sos., M.Ag., M.Si., Ph.D., a famous preacher from Makassar, South Sulawesi. He delivered a lecture on `Transformation in the Islamic Perspective Towards Glory`. This topic aligns with the main theme of the 27th WIKA Beton Anniversary, `Transform Then GloryIn the midst of his sermon, Ustadz Das`ad reminded the WIKA Beton people to always be honest in their work.
The event was then concluded with a communal iftar, followed by the Maghrib prayer in congregation, and the Tarawih prayer at the WIKA Beton Amanah Mosque in Jakarta.
