Information Technology Governance

Information Technology Governance at WIKA Beton refers to a series of processes, policies, and practices used to manage, oversee, and optimize the use of information technology to support the business goals of WIKA Beton. To strengthen and ensure good business processes and governance, WIKA Beton initiated to obtain ISO 27001:2013 certification and COBIT 4.1 with a score of 3.28 from the SOE Ministry's target of 3.00.

Information Technology Management

The company has the responsibility to ensure the implementation of good IT Governance/IT Governance practices in accordance with the regulations set by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Regulation PER-2/MBU/03/2023 on Information Technology Governance. To ensure the success of the IT program implementation, the company forms an organizational structure of the Information Technology Steering Committee and appoints individuals responsible from various functions who have the knowledge and competence according to their respective fields. This aims to ensure that the formation, development, and implementation of IT can be carried out in accordance with the plans and needs of the company. The Information Technology Steering Committee provides support for planning and implementation both in the short and long term and acts as a facilitator, coordinator, and a forum to accommodate aspirations of information technology programs. The company also establishes rules and policies that support the acceleration of initiatives that refer to international IT operational standards.

2024
Integrated WIKA Beton Group Core System

In 2024, the Information Systems Division will focus on integration. WIKA Beton will integrate the core system at WIKA Beton subsidiaries through the WIKA Beton ERP. In addition, WIKA Beton, which has implemented SAP in 2023, will build surround applications for SAP.

In 2024, the initiation of the Machine Learning will be applied to the marketing and sales process. This also needs to be supported by fulfilling hardware requirements according to the Information System (IS) architecture and continues Delivery/Deployment. On the security side, Loss Prevention (DLP) will be implemented. In terms of governance, the Information Systems Division will conduct surveillance of ISO 27001:2013, IT maturity, and initiate Industry 4.0.

2025 – 2026
Machine Learning System

In 2025 – 2026, WIKA Beton will start the implementation and optimization of machine learning, especially in the field of marketing and sales, which will continue to the next stage, namely the initiation of manufacturing automation, Artificial Intelligence, and DSS (Decision Support System).

For governance, surveillance of ISO 27001:2013, IT maturity 3.4, and initiation of cyber security level will also be conducted.

2027 – 2028
Manufacturing 4.0

In 2027-2028, WIKA Beton is expected to have implemented automation systems in its daily processes. The Decision Support System should also have been applied to assist the Board of Directors in decision-making. This should align with the adjustment of the company's IT infrastructure capacity and should be periodically evaluated. Governance aspects will continue to use ISO 27001 and focus on increasing IT Maturity value.
