PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton), represented by the Bogor Concrete Product Plant (PPB), emerged as the winner in a prestigious event, the Indonesia Construction Safety Awards (ICSA) 2023, held on Thursday evening (2/11) in Jakarta. On this occasion, WIKA Beton received recognition in the Safety Innovation category, specifically under the Construction Plant Office Evaluation sub-category. The submitted innovation was titled `The Use of Infrared Sensors for Traffic Light Control at the Road Intersection Area - PPB Bogor.`

ICSA 2023 is an appreciation event for companies that prioritize aspects of Health and Safety (HSE), organized by the Indonesian Construction Safety Experts Association (PAKKI). There were 5 (five) categories contested, namely CEO Safety Leadership, Director Safety, Safety Performance, Safety Innovation, and Emergency Response.
