PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) once againQuality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE)Patrol at the North Sumatra Precast Concrete Plant (PPB) and Project Unit 1, specifically on the Medan-Binjai Railway Line Construction Project. The inspection, held on November 8-9, 2023, aimed to review the implementation of quality and occupational health and safety aspects in WIKA Beton`s operational activities.

The QHSE Patrol was attended by WIKA Beton`s Commissioners and Directors, including Independent Commissioners Priyo Suprobo, Nita Prihutaminingrum, Miftachul Munir, R. Permadi Mulyasa, and Technical & Production Director Verly Widiantoro. This agenda is a manifestation of WIKA Beton management`s commitment to implementing QHSE to create a safe working environment in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

At the end of the activity, the management team provided rate of performance as feedback the results. Some aspects assessed included quality product, HSE, housekeeping, digitization,, production processes, and innovation. The management also provided guidance and input for improvements based on the findings of the field inspection.

QHSE Patrol activities are carried out routinely at WIKA Beton to establish a QHSE culture in the working environment. Thus, the probability of workplace accidents or illnesses due to negligence, which can lead to demotivation and a deficiency in future work productivity, can be minimized.
