PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton), along with its parent company, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), participated in the annual Konstruksi Indonesia (KI) Exhibition 2023 organized by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) from November 1-3, 2023, at JIExpo Kemayoran. The event was held under the overarching theme, "Accelerating Digital Transformation in the Construction Sector to Achieve Sustainable Infrastructure Development."

In addition to showcasing their booth, WIKA Beton also had the honor of being one of the speakers at a seminar on the second day of the exhibition with the topic,"Promoting Low Carbon Footprint Products for a Better Future."During this event, WIKA Beton was represented by its Director of Engineering and Production, Verly Widiantoro, who presented on the subject of `The Application of Environmentally Friendly Cement and Concrete in the Construction Industry.`

In his presentation, Verly elaborated on the decarbonization efforts that WIKA Beton has been implementing over the past few years. One of these efforts includes the use of non-OPC cement (Non-Ordinary Portland Cement) in the production of precast concrete.

The use of environmentally friendly cement comes with several advantages, such as reducing the environmental impact, enhancing concrete performance, and supporting a circular economy.
