PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) has once again received an award from the ESG Disclosure Transparency Awards 2023 in the Commitment CC category on Wednesday (29/11) evening in Jakarta. This marks the third consecutive year that WIKA Beton has been honored for the company`s commitment to disclosing Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) aspects in WIKA Beton`s sustainability report. The event was organized by the Bumi Global Karbon (BGK) Foundation in collaboration with investortrust.id.

BGK conducted the assessment using a methodology that involves 33 ESG factors based on leading capital market ESG factors, regulatory studies, international agreements, and reporting standards and guidelines that have undergone assurance processes by independent third parties. Evaluation of ESG disclosure transparency is necessary to measure the extent to which a company has achieved transparency in ESG.
