PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) was awarded the title as Indonesia Best Company in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Implementation 2023 with the title "Very Good" in the Indonesia Best Companies 2023 in HSE Implementation award held by SWA Magazine and Swanetwork. This award was given directly on Thursday (16/2) evening in Jakarta.
This award was obtained by WTON after going through a number of selection stages by the jury. Some of the aspects assessed are the application of HSE in the aspects of leadership, strategy, stakeholders, workers, operations, measurement, and results. WIKA Beton is also a company with a rating of 1 (one) in the non-FMCG manufacturing industry category.
On this occasion, WIKA Beton Engineering & Production Director Sidiq Purnomo became one of the keynote speakers with a presentation entitled "Mitigating Risks, Improving Productivity & Creating Sustainable Employability". He explained several points, one of which was HSE innovation at WIKA Beton such as HSE Mobile Application,Audit Evaluation System, WTON Green Program, and others.
Currently 10 (ten) factories owned by WIKA Beton have obtained Advanced SMK3 Certificates (Golden Flags) from the Ministry of Manpower Indonesia. WIKA Beton has also implemented ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2015. Until now, WIKA Beton has been able to maintain its zero fatality performance.
