In line with the motto of PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton), namely Innovation and Trust, innovation is one of the important aspects that determine the direction and sustainability of the Company in the future. Especially in the midst of today`s competitive business competition, adaptive behavior is a demand that must be applied so that the company can continue to survive and be at the forefront.

In order to facilitate the birth of innovation in the internal environment of WIKA Beton, every year a QEA (Quality Excellence Activity) Convention is held. For this year the convention will be held in a hybrid manner on January 4-5, 2023.

The event with the theme "Leading Innovation, Transforming for the Better", was attended by at least 13 teams from 12 WIKA Beton work units which were divided into 2 (two) innovation categories, namely Quality Control Circle (QCC) and Quality Control Innovation (QCI). Each team then presented their innovative work in front of WIKA Beton management.

The QCC category was won by PPB Lampung with the Diamond predicate, followed by Sales Area III with the Platinum predicate, and PPB Subang with the Platinum predicate.

Meanwhile, the QCI category was won by PPB South Sulawesi with the Diamond predicate, PPB Lampung with the Platinum predicate, and the Double Track Signaling Project with the Platinum predicate.

The implementation of the QEA Convention 2023 is expected to be able to facilitate quality innovation sharing activities, encourage the development and birth of innovation, and foster a love of innovation for WIKA Beton employees.
