The company`s ability to convey messages in an effort to maintain the company`s reputation to stakeholders is one of the things that is quite crucial at this time. Especially for public companies, publishing information is mandatory. Various media channels are opened as wide as possible as a means of conveying information to various parties. Not only through mass media, companies also communicate using their own media (owned media) such as social media, websites, internal magazines, and so on.
PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) won 2 (two) Gold medals at the 2023 Public Relations Indonesia Award (PRIA) event which was held on Friday (17/3) afternoon in Denpasar, Bali. The two awards received included:
- Owned Media Category, Sub Category E-Magazine WTON Magazine - Edition 09 #July 2022 Social Media Category.
- Digital Channel Category, Instagram Gold Winner Social Media Category.
As additional information, WIKA Beton`s internal magazine, WTON Magazine, has successfully passed for 4 consecutive years and has become one of the winners of the PRIA competition since 2019.
PRIA 2023 itself is a national level competition which has been transformed into a barometer for public relations/PR performance in the country. This year, the number of entries reached 836 out of 236 institutions, an increase of 6.4% compared to PRIA 2022. PR is a very strategic function for management. Because after all a good reputation is born from the PR kitchen in processing a strategic and relevant PR strategy.
