PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) tampil sebagai satu-satunya perusahaan beton pracetak yang berhasil meraih penghargaan dalam ajang Indonesia Patent Awards 2026 berkat kesuksesan komersialisasi inovasi WTON Splice Sleeve.
Apresiasi tingkat nasional dari Direktorat Jenderal Kekayaan Intelektual (DJKI) Kementerian Hukum Republik Indonesia ini diserahkan dalam perhelatan Forum Bisnis Paten Indonesia 2026 yang berlangsung pada 3–5 November 2026 di Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC).
Dari ribuan paten aktif yang terjaring, dewan juri independen menyaring 40 finalis sebelum menetapkan 20 invensi terbaik di empat kategori dan menempatkan WIKA Beton sebagai salah satu dari tujuh pemenang pada kategori Best Commercialization Model.
Keberhasilan perusahaan menembus ketatnya kurasi penghargaan ini diberikan atas produk WTON Splice Sleeve, sebuah inovasi rekayasa yang terdaftar dengan nomor paten IDS000011335 melalui judul invensi “Selongsong Baja Berulir sebagai Penyambung Baja Tulangan Beton”.
WTON Splice Sleeve atau sistem sambungan mekanik dari baja tuang merupakan tulangan baja yang digunakan untuk penyambungan pada struktur kolom pracetak. Produk ini ikut dipamerkan bersama produk inovasi WIKA Beton lainnya seperti WHOME di ajang tersebut.
Dalam ajang tersebut, Direktur Utama WIKA Beton, Kuntjara, menerima langsung penghargaan yang diberikan kepada WIKA Beton. Ia menegaskan bahwa inovasi produk tersebut merupakan wujud konsistensi perusahaan dalam menyelaraskan riset keteknikan dengan kebutuhan industri

Splice Sleeve Innovation Leads WIKA Beton to Become the Only Precast Concrete Company to Win Patent Award
PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) emerged as the only precast concrete company to successfully win an award at the Indonesia Patent Awards 2026 through the successful commercialization of its WTON Splice Sleeve innovation.
This national-level appreciation from the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI) of the Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia was presented during the Indonesia Patent Business Forum 2026, which took place on November 3–5, 2026, at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC).
Out of thousands of active patents gathered, an independent panel of judges shortlisted 40 finalists before selecting the 20 best inventions across four categories and placing WIKA Beton as one of seven winners in the Best Commercialization Model category.
The company’s success in passing the rigorous curation for this award was granted for the WTON Splice Sleeve product, an engineering innovation registered under patent number IDS000011335 with the invention title “Threaded Steel Sleeve as a Concrete Reinforcing Steel Coupler”.
The WTON Splice Sleeve, or a cast steel mechanical connection system, is a steel reinforcement used for splicing in precast column structures. This product was also exhibited alongside other WIKA Beton innovative products, such as WHOME, at the event.
At the event, the President Director of WIKA Beton, Kuntjara, personally received the award presented to WIKA Beton. He emphasized that this product innovation is a manifestation of the company’s consistency in aligning engineering research with industrial needs.
