Sebagai perusahaan yang konsisten menerapkan prinsip Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) terus memperkuat langkahnya dalam mewujudkan proses produksi yang efisien, ramah lingkungan, dan berkelanjutan.
Langkah ini semakin mempertegas praktik ESG yang telah berjalan, yang kembali dibuktikan melalui pelaksanaan Audit standar Industri Hijau (SIH) guna meraih sertifikasi SIH dari Kementerian Perindustrian (Kemenperin) untuk beberapa pabrik WIKA Beton.
Standar Industri Hijau merupakan inisiatif Kemenperin untuk mendorong pelaku industri agar mengutamakan efisiensi sumber daya dan meminimalkan dampak lingkungan. Penerapan standar ini dinilai strategis dalam meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan di pasar yang semakin peduli pada isu keberlanjutan.
Sertifikasi yang diraih WIKA Beton ini merujuk pada regulasi terbaru, yakni Peraturan Menteri Perindustrian No. 28 Tahun 2025 tentang Standar Industri Hijau untuk Industri Beton Pracetak. Sebagai wujud dukungan nyata terhadap industri yang berkelanjutan, WIKA Beton juga ikut berkontribusi aktif dalam penyusunan standar baru tersebut bersama Kemenperin.
Proses sertifikasi ini dinilai langsung oleh tim auditor eksternal melalui dua aspek penilaian utama meliputi aspek teknis dan aspek manajemen. Aspek teknis mencakup sembilan kategori, mulai dari bahan baku, bahan penolong, air, energi, proses produksi, produk, kemasan, emisi, hingga pengelolaan limbah.
Aspek manajemen mencakup enam kategori penilaian meliputi kebijakan dan organisasi, perencanaan strategis, pelaksanaan dan pemanfaatan, audit internal dan tinjauan manajemen, tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan, serta ketenagakerjaan.
Precast Concrete Plant (PCP) Bogor menjadi pabrik pertama yang resmi mendapatkan sertifikat standar industri hijau setelah pelaksanaan audit di bulan Juni 2026, dengan nomor industri hijau SIH 23953.01:2025 untuk produk beton pracetak dan prategang.
Langkah PCP Bogor kemudian dilanjutkan oleh PCP Pasuruan dan PCP Lampung yang telah merampungkan proses auditnya pada akhir September 2026. Saat ini, kedua pabrik tersebut tengah menyelesaikan proses audit standar industri hijau.
WIKA Beton meyakini bahwa kemajuan sebuah perusahaan bukan hanya tentang menghasilkan produk berkualitas, melainkan juga soal bagaimana menjaga kelestarian lingkungan untuk masa depan yang lebih baik.
3 Out of 7 WIKA Beton Plants Implement Green Industry Standards
As a company that consistently implements Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) continues to strengthen its efforts to realize efficient, eco-friendly, and sustainable production processes.
This move further reinforces its ongoing ESG practices, which is once again demonstrated through the Green Industry Standard (SIH) Audit to obtain SIH certification from the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) for several WIKA Beton plants.
The Green Industry Standard is an initiative by the Ministry of Industry to encourage industry players to prioritize resource efficiency and minimize environmental impacts. Implementing this standard is considered a strategic move to enhance the company’s competitiveness in a market that is increasingly concerned with sustainability issues.
The certification achieved by WIKA Beton is based on the latest regulation, namely Ministry of Industry Regulation No. 28 of 2025 concerning Green Industry Standards for the Precast Concrete Industry. As a concrete manifestation of its support for a sustainable industry, WIKA Beton also actively contributed to the drafting of this new standard alongside the Ministry of Industry.
The certification process was directly assessed by a team of external auditors based on two main evaluation aspects: technical and management. The technical aspect covers nine categories, ranging from raw materials, auxiliary materials, water, energy, production processes, products, packaging, and emissions, to waste management.
The management aspect includes six assessment categories: policy and organization, strategic planning, implementation and utilization, internal audit and management review, corporate social responsibility, and employment.
Precast Concrete Plant (PCP) Bogor became the first plant to officially receive the Green Industry Standard certificate following an audit in June 2026, bearing the green industry number SIH 23953.01:2025 for precast and prestressed concrete products.
PCP Bogor’s milestone was subsequently followed by PCP Pasuruan and PCP Lampung, which completed their audit processes in late September 2026. Currently, both plants are finalizing their Green Industry Standard audit processes.
