PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) terus menunjukkan peran aktifnya dalam mendukung transformasi industri konstruksi yang berkelanjutan di Indonesia. Kali ini, WIKA Beton berpartisipasi dalam forum strategis yang diselenggarakan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Bina Konstruksi Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum (Kemen PU) guna membahas kesiapan rantai pasok hijau dalam mendukung program dekarbonisasi sektor konstruksi.
Acara yang berlangsung dalam format Focus Group Discussion (FGD) ini dilaksanakan di Ruang Madras, Goodrich Suites, Jakarta, pada Jumat (13/03). Agenda ini merupakan bagian dari langkah pemerintah dalam menyusun instrumen dekarbonisasi sektor konstruksi demi mencapai target Net Zero Emission tahun 2060, yang juga selaras dengan RPJPN 2020–2045 dan misi Asta Cita Presiden.
Dalam kesempatan ini, WIKA Beton diwakili oleh Manajer Divisi Transformation, Engineering dan Quality, Ir. Festy Ratna Aditama, S.T., M.T., IPM., bersama tim teknis terkait. Festy bertindak sebagai salah satu narasumber dalam sesi diskusi panel untuk memaparkan kesiapan serta praktik nyata dekarbonisasi yang telah dijalankan oleh WIKA Beton.
Festy menekankan bahwa sebagai penyedia material beton pracetak terkemuka, WIKA Beton memahami tanggung jawab besar dalam menekan emisi gas rumah kaca di sepanjang rantai pasok. “Peran rantai pasok konstruksi, khususnya penyedia produk dan komponen, menjadi faktor kunci dalam upaya pengurangan emisi secara menyeluruh. WIKA Beton berkomitmen untuk memastikan praktik industri kami tidak hanya efisien secara operasional, tetapi juga selaras dengan kebijakan dekarbonisasi nasional,” ungkapnya.
Dalam pemaparannya, WIKA Beton menjelaskan mekanisme perhitungan jejak karbon yang telah diimplementasikan perusahaan, sejalan dengan mandat PP No. 14 Tahun 2021 dan Permen PUPR No. 9 Tahun 2021 tentang Pedoman Penyelenggaraan Konstruksi Berkelanjutan. Perseroan juga membagikan informasi terkait ketersediaan data faktor emisi material serta progres penyusunan Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) untuk produk-produk unggulannya.
Langkah nyata WIKA Beton dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan juga tecermin dari pencapaian skor Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) yang berada di angka 71. Skor ini merupakan bukti kematangan tata kelola perusahaan dalam mengintegrasikan inovasi rendah karbon ke dalam strategi bisnis jangka panjang. Melalui partisipasi ini, WIKA Beton berharap dapat terus berkontribusi dalam memperkuat ekosistem konstruksi hijau di Indonesia sekaligus meningkatkan daya saing industri di pasar global yang semakin peduli terhadap isu perubahan iklim.
WIKA Beton Strengthens Green Supply Chain Commitment at Ministry of Public Works Construction Decarbonization Forum
PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) continues to demonstrate its active role in supporting the sustainable transformation of the construction industry in Indonesia. This time, WIKA Beton participated in a strategic forum organized by the Directorate General of Construction Development of the Ministry of Public Works (Kemen PU) to discuss green supply chain readiness in supporting the construction sector’s decarbonization program.
The event, held in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) format, took place at the Madras Room, Goodrich Suites, Jakarta, on Friday (13/03). This agenda is part of the government’s steps in formulating decarbonization instruments for the construction sector to achieve the Net Zero Emission target by 2060, which is also aligned with the 2020–2045 RPJPN and the President’s Asta Cita mission.
On this occasion, WIKA Beton was represented by the Manager of the Transformation, Engineering, and Quality Division, Ir. Festy Ratna Aditama, S.T., M.T., IPM., along with the relevant technical team. Festy served as one of the speakers in the panel discussion session to present the readiness and concrete decarbonization practices already implemented by WIKA Beton.
Festy emphasized that as a leading precast concrete material provider, WIKA Beton understands its significant responsibility in reducing greenhouse gas emissions across the supply chain. “The role of the construction supply chain, especially product and component providers, is a key factor in overall emission reduction efforts. WIKA Beton is committed to ensuring our industrial practices are not only operationally efficient but also aligned with national decarbonization policies,” she stated.
In the presentation, WIKA Beton explained the carbon footprint calculation mechanisms the company has implemented, in line with the mandates of Government Regulation (PP) No. 14 of 2021 and Minister of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Regulation No. 9 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for Sustainable Construction Implementation. The Company also shared information regarding the availability of material emission factor data and the progress of preparing Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for its flagship products.
WIKA Beton’s concrete steps in preserving environmental sustainability are also reflected in its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) score of 71. This score is evidence of the company’s corporate governance maturity in integrating low-carbon innovation into its long-term business strategy. Through this participation, WIKA Beton hopes to continue contributing to strengthening the green construction ecosystem in Indonesia while simultaneously increasing industrial competitiveness in a global market that is increasingly concerned with climate change issues.
