WIKA Beton Targetkan 50% Energi Terbarukan Melalui Kerjasama AVAA Energy Storage dengan Cipta Mugi Pratama

Jakarta, 18 Desember 2025 – PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) menandatangani Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) dengan PT Cipta Mugi Pratama untuk implementasi teknologi energi baru terbarukan (EBT) Automatic Voltage Ampere Adjustment (AVAA) Energy Storage di fasilitas produksi WIKA Beton. Penandatanganan MOU dilaksanakan pada Kamis, 18 Desember 2025, di Jakarta, menandai komitmen strategis kedua belah pihak dalam mendorong transisi energi berkelanjutan di sektor industri beton pracetak

Melalui kerja sama ini, AVAA New Energy Hidrogen akan diterapkan dengan skema Energy Service Company (ESCO), di mana seluruh investasi sistem ditanggung oleh penyedia teknologi tanpa membebani belanja modal WIKA Beton. Skema ESCO tersebut memungkinkan WIKA Beton memperoleh pasokan energi dengan tarif sekitar 25% lebih rendah dari tarif listrik konvensional, sehingga penghematan biaya operasional energi langsung dapat dinikmati perusahaan sejak awal implementasi.

Sebelum kerja sama hidrogen ini, WIKA Beton telah menggandeng mitra ESCO untuk pemanfaatan energi surya melalui instalasi panel surya di beberapa pabrik. Sistem energi surya tersebut saat ini telah menggantikan sekitar 20% kebutuhan energi operasional pabrik dengan tingkat penghematan biaya listrik sekitar 15% di bawah tarif listrik konvensional. Dengan penambahan AVAA Energy Storage, WIKA Beton menargetkan porsi pemakaian energi terbarukan di pabrik-pabriknya meningkat signifikan hingga sekitar 80% dari total konsumsi energi, menjadikan energi terbarukan sebagai sumber energi dominan dalam operasi manufaktur

Implementasi teknologi AVAA Energy Storage ini sejalan dengan pencapaian WIKA Beton dalam program dekarbonisasi berkelanjutan. Perusahaan telah meraih sertifikasi Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) internasional sebagai produsen beton pertama di Indonesia, dengan potensi reduksi emisi karbon hingga 26,4% pada setiap produk beton. Upaya pengurangan emisi dilakukan melalui penggunaan material ramah lingkungan seperti fly ash sebagai pengganti sebagian semen, penggunaan Portland Composite Cement (PCC) yang lebih ramah lingkungan, serta implementasi panel surya di berbagai fasilitas produksi. Selain itu, WIKA Beton juga sedang mengembangkan inovasi beton geopolimer sebagai solusi jangka panjang untuk meminimalkan emisi karbon industri.

Integrasi sistem AVAA Energy Storage berkapasitas 1,5 MW dengan portofolio energi surya eksisting dirancang untuk meningkatkan keandalan pasokan, menstabilkan tegangan listrik, dan mengoptimalkan beban energi pada proses produksi beton pracetak. Model kolaborasi jangka panjang berbasis kinerja selama sekitar 30 tahun ini diproyeksikan mampu memberikan penghematan biaya listrik operasional, sekaligus memperkuat daya saing biaya dan margin keuntungan perusahaan tanpa tambahan beban investasi langsung.​

WIKA Beton Utilizes Renewable Energy Through AVAA Energy Storage Collaboration with Cipta Mugi Pratama

Jakarta, December 18, 2025 – PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PT Cipta Mugi Pratama for the implementation of the new and renewable energy (NRE) technology Automatic Voltage Ampere Adjustment (AVAA) Energy Storage at WIKA Beton’s production facilities. The MOU signing, held on Thursday, 18 December 2025, in Jakarta, marks a strategic commitment by both parties to advance the sustainable energy transition in the precast concrete industry sector.​

Through this collaboration, AVAA New Energy Hydrogen will be implemented under an Energy Service Company (ESCO) scheme, under which the entire system investment is borne by the technology provider without adding to WIKA Beton’s capital expenditure. This ESCO model enables WIKA Beton to obtain an energy supply at a tariff approximately 25% lower than the state utility, allowing the company to immediately realize energy operating cost savings from the outset of implementation.​

Prior to this hydrogen collaboration, WIKA Beton had already partnered with an ESCO to utilize solar energy through the installation of solar panels at several plants. The solar energy system currently replaces around 20% of the plants’ operational energy demand, delivering electricity cost savings of about 15% compared with conventional grid tariffs. With the addition of AVAA Energy Storage, WIKA Beton targets a significant increase in the share of renewable energy use at its plants to around 80% of total energy consumption, positioning renewable energy as the dominant energy source in its manufacturing operations.​

The implementation of AVAA Energy Storage technology is aligned with WIKA Beton’s achievements in its ongoing decarbonization program. The company has obtained an international Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification as the first concrete producer in Indonesia, with the potential to reduce carbon emissions by up to 26.4% for each concrete product. Emission reduction efforts are pursued through the use of environmentally friendly materials such as fly ash as a partial substitute for cement, the use of more eco-friendly Portland Composite Cement (PCC), as well as the installation of solar panels across various production facilities. In addition, WIKA Beton is developing geopolimer concrete innovations as a long-term solution to minimize industrial carbon emissions.​

The integration of a 1.5 MW AVAA Energy Storage system with the existing solar energy portfolio is designed to enhance supply reliability, stabilize voltage, and optimize energy load in precast concrete production processes. This long-term performance-based collaboration model, with a duration of around 30 years, is projected to deliver annual savings in electricity operating costs, while strengthening the company’s cost competitiveness and profit margins without additional direct investment burden.​
