Konektivitas Logistik Makin Lancar, WIKA Beton Suplai Material Proyek NPEA

Enhancing Logistics Connectivity: WIKA Beton Supplies Materials for the NPEA Project

Kalibaru Terminal, also known as New Priok Container Terminal One (NPCT 1), plays a crucial role as Indonesia’s premier export-import gateway. As a port area with continuously growing loading and unloading capacity, the high mobility of large-tonnage cargo on the northern coast of Jakarta inevitably demands seamlessly integrated connecting infrastructure.

Driven by this critical necessity, Pelindo’s New Priok Eastern Access (NPEA) project was initiated to directly connect the terminal to the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road network, which commenced in 2025 and is targeted to become operational in 2027.

In the effort to enhance this logistics connectivity, PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk is playing a pivotal role by supplying construction materials. WIKA Beton is providing a diverse range of high-quality products, including spun piles, bridge girders, half slabs, and ready-mix concrete. The material fulfillment for this land and sea infrastructure, with a total value of IDR 153 billion, is divided into two contract packages: NPEA-1 amounting to IDR 85 billion and NPEA-2 valued at IDR 68 billion.

Infrastructure durability is the primary key to ensuring the smooth flow of heavy vehicle traffic on the Jakarta coast. The President Director of PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk, Kuntjara, emphasized that the stringent specifications of the NPEA project are perfectly aligned with the company’s commitment to quality and reliability.

“Considering that this logistics route will be continuously traversed by heavy vehicles, the high-quality standards across all WIKA Beton products will ensure that this infrastructure possesses long-term durability,” he stated.

To maintain the pace of construction on-site, Kuntjara also assured that material distribution management is conducted in a measured and calculated manner. The seamless distribution of these products is achieved through the optimization of the Ancol Batching Plant facility, coupled with operational support from the Bogor factory.

Ultimately, the availability of reliable materials for this project is expected not only to generate a positive impact on the company’s financial performance but also to further strengthen the Danantara and State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) ecosystem in accelerating the competitiveness of national logistics.
