Jakarta 24 Maret 2025 – PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk memastikan akses jalan Pelabuhan WIKA Beton di Lampung Selatan kini telah siap digunakan sepenuhnya terhitung sejak pekan lalu. Peningkatan kualitas akses jalan ke pelabuhan ini telah dikerjakan dengan sangat baik oleh WIKA Beton bersama ASDP bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan pengendara, dari Pelabuhan WIKA Beton menuju jalan Lintas Timur Sumatera.
Selain peningkatan kualitas akses jalan, WIKA Beton berkolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak terkait penambahan sarana dan prasarana pelabuhan demi keamanan dan kenyamanan pemudik yang meliputi: penyediaan fasilitas tambahan berupa tenda dan toilet portabel, pemasangan sistem CCTV pemantau, peningkatan pencahayaan jalan, pemasangan rambu lalu lintas dan marka jalan serta dibentuknya Pos Pengamanan Terpadu bersama aparat terkait.
Menurut Yushadi, Sekretaris Perusahaan WIKA Beton, penambahan sarana dan prasarana ini merupakan bagian dari dedikasi WIKA Beton dalam menghadirkan pengalaman mudik yang lebih mengutamakan keamanan dan kenyamanan serta dengan penataan yang baik. “Kami memahami bahwa perjalanan yang mengutamakan keselamatan dan lancar adalah prioritas utama bagi kebutuhan para pemudik. Oleh karena itu, kami memastikan bahwa seluruh fasilitas di Pelabuhan WIKA Beton telah dipersiapkan secara maksimal,” ujarnya.
Aktivitas di Pelabuhan WIKA Beton telah mulai digunakan hari ini (24 Maret) lebih maju dari jadwal tanggal 26 Maret 2025 dengan bersandarnya kapal penyeberangan KMP Royce 1 dengan membawa 288 orang penumpang, 215 kendaraan motor roda 2 , 14 truk kecil dan sedang, serta 24 truk besar. Hal ini merupakan solusi dari atas peningkatan para pengendara yang lebih cepat dari prediksi semula.

Jakarta, 24 March 2025 – PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk has confirmed that the road access to WIKA Beton Port in South Lampung is now fully operational as of last week. The improvement of the access road to the port, carried out in collaboration with ASDP, aims to enhance comfort and convenience for travelers commuting from WIKA Beton Port to the Trans-Sumatra Eastern Highway. This development forms part of the company’s commitment to supporting the smooth flow of the 2025 Eid homecoming season.
Beyond improving the road infrastructure, WIKA Beton has also worked closely with various stakeholders to enhance port-related facilities, ensuring the safety and convenience of travelers. These efforts include the provision of waiting tents and portable toilets for public use, the installation of CCTV surveillance systems for real-time monitoring, improved road lighting to ensure optimal visibility at night, the placement of clear traffic signs and road markings, as well as the establishment of an Integrated Security Post in coordination with local authorities.

Operations at WIKA Beton Port officially began today, 24 March, ahead of the previously scheduled opening date of 26 March 2025. The early activation of the port comes as a response to rising traffic congestion at Merak Port, which has occurred earlier than anticipated. Today, the port welcomed the docking of ferry KMP Royce 1, which transported 288 passengers, 215 two-wheeled vehicles, 14 light to medium-sized trucks, and 24 heavy trucks.
