PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) meraih penghargaan The Most Appreciated Customer dalam ajang FABA Synergy Forum 2026 yang digelar PT PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) di Tangerang, Kamis (24/9). Penghargaan ini diberikan sebagai apresiasi atas kemitraan WIKA Beton dalam pemanfaatan Fly Ash and Bottom Ash (FABA).
Melalui Sustainable Solution, PLN NP sebagai subholding PT PLN (Persero) yang bergerak di bidang pembangkitan tenaga listrik yang mendorong pemanfaatan FABA, yaitu material hasil samping pembakaran batu bara dari PLTU untuk berbagai kebutuhan, termasuk sektor konstruksi.
Dalam pengembangan produk beton, WIKA Beton menggunakan FABA yang diperoleh dari PLN Nusantara Power sebagai salah satu alternatif material. Penggunaan material ini menjadi bagian dari upaya perusahaan mengurangi penggunaan bahan konvensional sekaligus mengoptimalkan hasil samping industri.
Pemanfaatan FABA sebagai green material menjadi salah satu upaya WIKA Beton dalam memproduksi green product sebagai bentuk penerapan prinsip Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), khususnya melalui pengelolaan material dalam menekan emisi karbon. Penghargaan The Most Appreciated Customer menjadi salah satu bentuk apresiasi atas sinergi kedua perusahaan dalam mendorong pemanfaatan FABA.
Langkah ini turut membuka peluang untuk menciptakan nilai tambah dari hasil samping industri sekaligus mendukung pengembangan produk yang lebih berkelanjutan. Hal tersebut sejalan dengan komitmen WIKA Beton dalam menjalankan bisnis secara berkelanjutan serta mendukung penguatan ekosistem Danantara dan BUMN.
Utilizing FABA for Concrete Products, WIKA Beton Wins The Most Appreciated Customer Award
PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton) won The Most Appreciated Customer award at the FABA Synergy Forum 2026. The event was held by PT PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) in Tangerang on Thursday, September 24. This award was given in recognition of WIKA Beton’s partnership in utilizing Fly Ash and Bottom Ash (FABA).
Through its Sustainable Solution program, PLN NP, a subholding of PT PLN (Persero) engaged in power generation, encourages the use of FABA. FABA is a coal combustion byproduct from steam power plants that can be used for various purposes, including the construction sector.
In developing concrete products, WIKA Beton uses FABA obtained from PLN Nusantara Power as an alternative material. Using this material is part of the company’s effort to reduce the consumption of conventional materials while optimizing industrial byproducts.
The use of FABA as a green material is one of WIKA Beton’s steps to manufacture eco-friendly products. This reflects the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, specifically through material management to reduce carbon emissions. The Most Appreciated Customer award acts as a recognition of the strong synergy between both companies in promoting the use of FABA.
This step also opens up opportunities to create added value from industrial byproducts while supporting the development of more sustainable products. This aligns with WIKA Beton’s commitment to running a sustainable business and supporting the strengthening of the Danantara and State Owned Enterprises (BUMN) ecosystems.
